The last couple of nights, I have been getting back into my Hexies after seeing SO many beautiful blooms about! Last night, it was blowing a gale, raining, thundering and even lightning. Perfect stitching weather.....
A view from my lounge chair: My messy couch:
Did you see Miss Sophie among all that?!
I always have an old quilt on the bottom to protect the leather from her claws (even though she is a very gentle pooch), and either mine or Dennis's Quillow over the back. She has a habit of doing what we call 'donuts' (spinning round and round) until the quilt hanging over falls down, and she wiggles and wiggles until she is under it! Can you see what else is under there?

Gosh she does look cute under there , is she happy or scared stiff of the thunder ?? Bobby kept barking back at it the thunder that is :)
So cute!! Did you know that when a dog goes round and round it is instinct...goes back to when dogs were wild...they use to trample the grass and make their bed. I just found this out a while back as all my dogs have done this! Interesting hey! Wonder if it is true??
