looking great, I jsut learned to knit socks, just don't leave it too late to knit the second otherwise you might forget how ( like me).cheersChristine
sWell done Sarah! socks you say, I can just about do them blindfolded.I am not bragging, but I have made so many pairs, at least 25, and about 12 pairs so far this year. I am over them at the moment. Keep up the knitting, and yes I had to unpull my plain knitting on my last pair, which were for my dad in Orange. I have been doing my socks in lacey patterns, but I had to do dad's socks in stocking stitch. Your socks will certainly keep your tootsies warm this winter. I have one of my pair on at the moment.
How cool is that! I just LOOOOVE hand knitted socks, so much nicer than shop made ones. Very funky colours! I got most of the band done on one sock last night, very pleased so far; and the four needles weren't so hard to juggle as I thought. *grin*
nice one sarah!julie :)
Cleaver you yet again :-)
Great sock! Congratulations on finishing the first one and good luck on finishing the second! :0)
Great Sarah! I have 1-1/2 socks made for Jenni; another UFO. Love the variegated wool.
Isn't it so cute..LOL.. I totally love it. Too bad it's not cold enough up here to wear warm cosy socks like them.. look forward to see the next one..
Ha Ha...LOVE the sock Sarah!! It is truly a work of art xx
Love the sock! Wish I could knit something more than scarves.Oh well we can't be good at everything I spose :( Barb.
Don't do what I did and get a dose of second sock syndrome - lol ! My first pair took about a year - 2 weeks for the first and another 50 for the second :-) I love your little pink wallhanging too xx
