Speaking of our online Group, we just had our Xmas Tree Ornie Swap and this is what I received from Susan (no blog):
Isn't she cute??!! Susan has sewed on some beads to the flower she is holding - very effective!! At the back, there is a slit where she slipped in this BEAUTIFUL smelling strawberry satchet.....mmmmm......mmmmmm Thankyou Susan xx
On the sewing front, I have been sewing up a storm!! I finished this Advent Calendar for our Nephew Homer early this week. Instead of treats in the pockets, we will give him some Xmas balls to hang on the tree each day.
My Mum often quilts using decorative stitches, I like the effect, so decided to have a go myself!! I am happy with the way it turned out!!
Yesterday, I popped into Calico Crossroads to get some supplies and found Jules and Kerry (blogless) lurking there which was great!! We met last weekend at the Ross Get-together!! I have to say ladies, you know the quilt top I took with me to match some fabrics?? I have just finished it YAY!! As that is a Christmas gift, I cant post a pic......... I might however, post a pic of the back..... tomorrow or Tuesday - so keep watching!!
