Xmas in August...........

Yesterday we went to a Xmas In August dinner. Our niece Emily is going to France in a week for 10 months as an exchange student, so it was decided we would celebrate Xmas early for her.
Here is one of the tables all set up:
She received some lovely pressies a camera, Pandora beads, hair dryer etc. We gave her a soccer ball Pandora and I made her an 'E' luggage tag:
The tag is actually a Leanne's House stitchery and I used a Bronwyn Hayes tag template, added some daisy braid and some ribbon. These would made fantastic additions to any gift wrapped around the package............
And, a little pressie for me???? Yes, we dropped in and picked up our new camera!! After having SO much trouble with the 'old' one, we decided enough was enough and ordered a new one and it was ready for us to pick up on Saturday!! FINALLY!! I had to 'steal' the pic from the wesite as I tried and tried to take a pic with the old one, and you guessed it - it would not come out!! LOL!! Suppose it did not like the thought of being replaced lol!!
Don't you just love the colour??!! Hopefully I will work out all its functions.................
x Sarah

How exciting for her to be going to France for all that time, lucky girl.

Have fun with your camera, you'll wonder why you put up with the old one for so long.
