Happy Birthday Nan xx

Today my Nan turned 77!! So, with a new restaurant here in George Town (it has been here actually for about 6 months) both of my Nan's and myself decided to go out for lunch there.
Right on the water front watching the boats whizz passed, it was just lovely.

A lovely entrance............
With great views!! Once they sell the land at the front it will spoil the view for the restaurant I reckon!! The land for sale goes right to the low water mark...........

Nan had been eyeing of one of these bin tidy's, so I decided to make her one too!! LOL!!

The fabric for this one is Debbie Mumm's Quilting Bee's fabric range. She loves blue!

She was very pleased when she opened the parcel. She does a lot of knitting, so it will work out quite handy for her - so she had told me a while ago while hinting for one LOL!!

5 more posts till my giveaway!!

what a wonderful gift
something you made and spending time having lunch with her.
Probably the best gifts she can receive.
Love the little bin, I could use on of those too for all my threads when appliqueing!
they tend to float onto the rug or sides of the chair :)

Hope your Nan loves her bin tidy as much as I do. I use mine every time I hand stitch. It lives permanently on my chair now. Such a great gift.
