Just over a week to go....

And, I still have soooo much to do!! I have to finish binding a quilt, make some little pressies for the girls I work with (I usually make something little), Secret Santa pressie for work (which is under construction as we speak), started a bag, something to go with Roseanne's pressie and finish Kristy's Xmas pressie!! With work finishing up on Wednesday, I reakon I will get it all done!!
I have now got my sewing room back, but there is still heaps of stuff in there but I can manage to get to the sewing machine *grin*. The floors have now been sanded and varnished, but they have to come back and re-do a spot. The new kitchen is in, without the splashback 'cause the workman put the power point in the wrong position - behind the hotplate's, so we are just waiting on that!! WOOHOO!! At least I can start putting things back in there which I have been doing this week. I have everything all sorted in the cuboards, then realised I didnt leave any room for all the microwave bits and bobs..... Grrr!!
And, the paving has been finished... Yay!! Looks good too - here is the before shot:

And the after:
Here is a pic of the ramp to the garage, and step down to the paving in front of the old shed - which will one day become my very own "studio" - hopefully: Here is the step to the bbq courtyard, we still have to put another row of border stone blocks in the garden bed here:
Next time I will have some pics of craft work. The Secret Santa pressie and the little gifts I made for work :o)
Take care, Sarah x
PS: Hi Darlene, thanks for your lovely email xx

Hi Sarah! WOW you have been busy. I love the new driveway. How much bigger does it look! I'm thinking your plan to take over the garage as your studio is a seriously fantastic plan. You go girl!
