House warming pressie

My little brother Simon (in QLD) not long moved in with his girlfriend, Kate, so I thought I should make them something for their "house warming" gift. And this is what I made them. I found some "blackboard fabric" at a shop at Exeter, and also got the Caffe Latte fabric panel and border fabric there and this is what I came up with!! A wallhanging. I made a little pocket on the bottom to hold the chalk and I even wrote a message on there for them. I might have to make myself one!!

I am now nearly finished the Journey of a Quilter Block 1, should have a pic in afew days and I am also working on a baby's quilt for a friend which is not far of completetion!!

If you want to join the Pay it Forward, I am still after 2 more people :( anyone??????

Happy stitching, Sarah :-)

Hi Sarah, could you get my email from Kerry as dont really want to publish on the net. I am yet to put my challenge on my blog, I have just spent the last week in the rocky mountains, how sad. They are unbelievable. They also have a fantastic fabric shop in Jaspar.
