Our gift was a table runner. Mel and Paul's colours throughout their new home was brown/black/latte/white and I came across these fabrics and thought they would be perfect for them! Turned out I was right..... they matched in perfectly!
Made using a Charm Pack, though they were 'shop cut' and larger than the pre-cuts, and instead of cutting them down, I just adjusted the pattern measurements:
I used grey for the borders so that the brown and black stood out a bit more and I quite like the effect:
And, I quilted it on my Gammill..... The pattern is called 'Circus' which is a new one I just purchased. Its quite effective!
Its been hot here lately. Today, I have been sewing..... Block making! More soon!
And, for those of you interested in the Pastry Mat, I purchased mine from Your Habitat, I would suspect most home wares store would sell them.
