Kate and Myself have chosen to do our quilt in Nancy Halvorsen fabrics - no particular range, just mix them up a bit as they all work well together, and it really is a great choice I think..... They look fantastic!
Here is my little pile:
Layed out on the floor:
It did seem like I had done quite a bit, until I layed them all out!
Definitely a long term project!
If you want to check out LOTS more hexies, pop over to the Hexie blog HERE, you wont be disappointed.
With a whole week off last week, I decided to get stuck into the many quilts I had here to do. Actually, got through MOST of the pile when on Friday, when I had about 12" left of a border to quilt my Darning Foot smashed in half! A quick call to the sewing shop in Launceston, they seemed to think they had one, but was not too confidant as my machine is a industrial type domestic...... Dennis picked it up on the way home and when I tried it, it wasn't quite right! So, just cut a bit off and I was set!
I have lots to tell, maybe tomorrow...............
