You REALLY must check this out.....

While having a lovely chat this morning with Kerri, she was telling me about this FANTASTIC little tutorial on Pinwheels...... Honestly, you really have to see this...... you wont regret it!!

Thanks SO much Kerri for showing me, I know that a lot of people will LOVE this fast and EASY peasy way!!

Will have to try that. Would never have thought of sewing right around the square .. what a good idea.

Sassy,Sassy,Sassy! Where have you been girl?? Thats old news! Check out Moda Bake Shop, Lap Quilt In A Jiffy. It's made with an Arcadia layer cake and the method is the same! Actualy,I have a UFO done like that.somewhere..! mum

I have a box of those squares back from my first couple of years in patchworking/quilting and everyone told me I was nuts. For the reason you mention at the end.
I even had started a chart of what size each pinwheel would measure according to what size squares I started with. I was doused with cold water. I might go get them out again now. I still have a box of squares ready. Lights and Darks.
Well if we are mad there are at least two of us and one of them seems to have more clout than I do/did

How extraordinarily simple! My little brain is working out how to use the same idea but not to end up with a pinwheel. Thanks heaps for sharing this one!

Thanks for sharing this. I saw this link over at Christine's blog 'Auntie's Quaint Quilts". I cannot believe how simple this technique is and no waste at all when using charm squares. I have a lot of charm squares and I love pinwheels so this is going to be great.
