Borders and a winner...............

Today was the day I popped over to Pauline's to choose my border fabrics for my Tassie Bound Quilt that I did at the Kerry Swain Workshop. I LOVED the green in it SO much that I bought that straight away as there was not much left on the bolt!! Now, I was going to do a 'peeper' but I then thought that I would not be able to give it an all-over meander, so I will just do a border about 1 1/2" wide in that. The outside border I chose this BEAUTIFUL plum colour with pink flowers, which is actually in the centre blocks, what do you think??

I sort of had this combo in mind, but it was great getting some input from Roseanne (who came over to Calico Crossroads with me), Jules (who dropped in to see us, and check out the quilt) and Pauline. We had a great morning, over at the shop. Notice the block 'fixed'?? LOL!! Thankyou so much Ladies for your help xx

Ok, lets get back to my GIVEAWAY. Thankyou so much everyone for signing up for my camera bag........... SO, The winner of the prize is NUMBER: 19 - that's Mandapanda!! Congrats to you!! And, on your sidebar you have my LOGO....... SO, you will receive a stitched luggage tag by ME!! YAY!! Please email me so that I can get some details from you.

This has finished your quilt off perfectly! I agree with you, the green in the quilt really makes it, am so pleased that you put in a narrow border with it. oh, and the plum from the centre for the main border - beautiful!
Excitedly anticipating the final result, quilted adn bound; Bec xxx
