What have I done???

Last night after work (from 12.30am!!) I decided to start putting the little Bin Tidy together that I am making for a swap which will be handed over on Saturday......... My sewing machine was not very nice to me, I suppose it was because it was SO late - or early!! While sewing on the little scissor piece my machine jammed and ripped a BIG hole in it!!!! Luckily, I was making 2 at the same time and will be able to use that one to finish of the gift!! Does anyone know how I can fix this or any suggestions on what I could do to hide it??

I did find that my machine was clogged up with lint, so cleaned all that out...... I was going to do that anyway, so that my machine was ready for the Workshop with Kerry!!

Read a little,
Dream a little,
Live, love,
laugh and
learn a little.

Woops! I'd iron on some stabiliser on the back and then applique over it or make a bigger picushion to cover it!

Good luck with fixing it. I would mend it then do some lovely applique, no-one will know the difference. Best of luck with it.

Had a friend once, almost every thing she made there was a tree on it in applique. It got the better of me once and had to ask her why? Turns out, she always made a mistake or tore a hole and needed to fix it...soooo she put a tree on it...ha ha..
Shame that happened Sarah, good luck with fixing it...
