A Bumble Bee on a cupcake???

Thankyou everyone for your comments and emails on my awards, it has been totally amazing!! My SIL Judy picked them up for me today and has told me that she is keeping the quilt lol!!

After receiving a Pinks and Needles Pin Topper in the Pin Cushion BOM, I decided I NEEDED more!! After having a good look at her store I came across this one:
How cute is this??!! A bumble bee on top of a cupcake!! The work that Gigi is just amazing, very detailed!! This is not the only one I bought, some of the others are for gifts - so I will show you all later!!
Last weekend, while dropping my items off to be judged, we dropped into Spotlight and popped into Calico Crossroads. Check out these BEAUTIFUL fabrics from Pauline shop that I purchased:
Not sure what I am going to do with it yet, just HAD to have it lol!! It is called Lilacs and Lace, I bought the pale blue spot for binding/borders or whatever.................

As Thursday was a public holiday here, I decided I would dedicate that day to JUST sewing!! And that is all I did! I was sewing away on my friends Birthday gift when she turned up........ I moved quickly to get it out of site lol! Now that part is completed, I have been working on the other part on and off the last couple of days and that is nearly done........ her Birthday is 2 weeks away, so I MIGHT give some sneak peeps later this week :o)
