My latest finish

While Roseanne was here last Saturday night using my quilting frame, I got stuck into making this little diary book cover designed by Janelle. I have had the stitchery done for a while now, only had to cut out the fabrics and put it all together. The pattern was in a Homespun mag a little while ago. I have actually used a Bronwyn Hayes stitchery instead of Janelle's cause I thought this one suited as I use the diary to document all my finished items for the year. Janelle has been designing some great patterns of late, I really love Sweet Janice.............

This is the inside where the diary's covers slip into the pocket:

It was a beautiful day today so, Dennis and Myself took Sophie to the beach. This picture was taken at The Pilot Station at Low Head which is about 15min drive away from our home.

Here is a pic I took of Dennis and Sophie, walking abit ahead of me while I was taking some pics of the scenery.

And, for those of you who have emailed me about my camera bag, thankyou for your comments! For the box bottom, I just sewed the bottom and side seams as normal, with right sides together, you bring the side seam to the bottom seam and sew accross the triangle about an inch away from the point. Ummmm..... Not real sure if that helps................ LOL
