No 'Blogger of the Year' for me! I have been sewing heaps, every spare minute I am doing something, and had been loading my pics into the Blogger App as a draft, ready for when I get time to actually type something out. I have 7 drafts as we speak! So, I AM going to blog every day this week!! Promise!
My posts this week will not necessarily be in order, as to when they were created. But I am going to blog them anyway.
Recently I got some DMC Woolly in stock at the shop. This yarn is a 5ply and there are SO many gorgeous colours. I have about 7 or so shades, and decided to make a crochet Cowl as a sample. And, talk about popular! I wasn't quite sure how it would go, being 5ply, and everyone wants the pattern for the cowl!
My lovely SIL Roseanne comes to sew on a Friday, well, some Friday's LOL! I wanted to make one of these Tooly Tool Holder for a while and after chatting to her about it, she told me she had the pattern too. So that was one of our projects. I made mine in the lovely Tilda fabrics.
Here is mine opened up. Roseanne actually made a stuffed pincushion which attaches on with velcro to the front of the felt. I am thinking of doing that too - that way, it will hold upright ok when full of my crafty stuff! You can see her version here.
They were pretty easy to make too.
See you tomorrow.

Such a pretty cowl! I'm crocheting one, too. It's not perfect - I'm just learning and am having trouble within the joining in the round thing, but I'm loving it! It's so relaxing, and I can easily take it anywhere. Love that too lie! A clever idea!
