The local show was a couple of weeks ago.  It has been a few years since I entered anything in the Cottage Industries, and after chatting to Roseanne, we decided to enter some things at the last minute.  We also roped in a few other ladies too. 

I won first for my applique Somerhill House quilt:

 

A second for my Patchwork Bag:

 

 

And a third for my pieced Fig Tree quilt!  There is also a Highly Commended on my Tilda quilt to the left of it.

 

 

Here are another couple of entries from our local ladies. 

 

 

Mum entered some things, and this quilt of her's got a second place:

 

 

A local lady who has only been sewing under 12 months entered some things too, and she managed to score 2 first places!  One for this cute pincushion and another for her soft toy.

 

 

And some exciting news, not only did Roseanne win first place for this pieced quilt, but she also received 'Best in Section' for Patchwork!!

 

 

Congratulations Roseanne, and to all the other ladies!

 

From the 5 of us we came home with 12 (or 13) ribbons, 3 Highly Commended and Best of Section.
