News and a project

Hello!  Anyone out there?  I cant believe its been so long since I hung out here!  Lots of things have been happening, all good of course!  One thing I am pretty excited about is my new look website!  Have you checked it out yet?  I am pretty chuffed with how it looks, after years (yes, how time flies), I was a little tired of the old one!  And to celebrate 5 years, we are having a giveaway!  Every online purchase gets you into the draw to win a $50 voucher. 

A couple of weeks ago, Gail Pan's new fabrics arrived in stock.  Baskets in Bloom and it is gorgeous!  SO Gail!  Anyway, I couldn't resist making something and pondered over a few projects, so I've made 2!  This one just needs quilting!  Somerhill House was is this project, with needleturn applique.  You don't have to needleturn of course, but I want to have a go for a change.  Pretty happy with how it turned out, here is the House block:

Pretty don't you think?  I cant wait to quilt it.  Today was going to be the day, but I got a little side-tracked!  Next week :)
