Red Letter Day

I had a sewing frenzy on Sunday.  The plan was to get all the home duties done in the morning, then get cracking on my Red Letter Day quilt.  Saturday after I closed the shop, I came home tidied my sewing room (not that you would think it now!), and cut out all the blocks.  Two blocks were done at the Camille workshop, and one had been done since I came home..... So, 5 needed and the centre block.  Fabric from my stash, French General Rural Jardin in the blue and red combo's.  Here are the 4 red star combo's:

And the 4 blue star combo's:

My centre block:

And on Monday morning, I had a flimsy!  SO happy with it!

As I still have fabrics left from my FQ Bundle, I am going to piece a backing.... Plus Camille autographed a piece for me to add to a label.

Its now sitting in the 'to be quilted' pile.....

Wow! This looks so good. I love the red white and blue colour scheme, besides you can never go wrong with French General. How fantastic you have an autographed piece too. Very special.
