Last weekend

Excitement has been building the last few weeks as I was booked into attend a class in Sydney at Quiltsmith with Camille Roskelley from Thimble Blossoms.  It sure was a weekend to remember!  I spent the weekend with Lynda, just relaxing, walking and eating :)

 

The project for our class was Red Letter Day (I have some patterns in stock, will load them to my site soon!), and I chose some French General 'Rural Jardin' from my stash.  I am pretty happy with these colour combo's!  I made 2 blocks on the day.  One lady was on to her 5th!! 

 

I didn't get tons of pics, just a few.  This one is my favourite.  Camille is such a sweetie, just like how she comes across on her blog.  We have been in contact for quite a few years, and was awesome to finally meet her in the flesh!

 

And I was lucky enough to catch up with her friend Holly too.  She had not planned to attend the last weekends classes, but dropped in to show us her Red Letter Day quilt! I was hoping she would drop in, and she was hoping I was there too.... We have been following each other on IG for a little while. 

 

We all also got a lovely surprise when Jarom, Camille's husband made an appearance.  He is such a lovely person too, very happy to pose for some pics!
