I had a heap of Bits and Pieces charm packs in stock, and have been thinking of what to make from one or two. Then I came across this freebie pattern from Moda.
Simple piecing:
With a couple of borders made this beauty:
I chose a basic stars and loops quilting pattern, and love how it has showed up in the cream background blocks:
Turned out a treat, and was SO quick to put together! It is now hanging up in the shop and I am getting quite abit of lovely comments about it. Finished size is 48" square. The pattern is called 'Charm Star' and available HERE.
