Swoon

For those of you who love to stop by for my WOTGF post, I am sorry, today I don't have one!  I haven't done any quilting the last couple of days due to the weather here.  Yesterday was a thundery and lighting day and I don't like to run my machine in that sort of weather!  Today it was forecast for the same, and even though it came over quite black a couple of times, we didn't get any rain, and I didn't want to risk it! 

So, today I thought I would show you something I am working on.  A couple of weekends ago I finally got around to making a Swoon Block.  Its been on my 'to do' list for so long and even though I have so many other things I should be doing, I decided to start it anyway!  The pattern says its 24" square which is big, but really, you don't realise how big that actually is until its made... You sort of look at the ruler and say, oh yeah, its about that... but one its made, well, you realise! 

 

I am going to be making mine in the Scrumptious range!  It totally is just that too... Scrumptious!  I have actually make a second block but cant seem to find that pic....
