Mother's Day gifts

Happy Mother's Day!

I have been working on something for ages as a gift for my Mum for Mother's Day.  It is a Zpagetti Basket.  Something to put by her chair for her wool.  I cant tell you how many times I undone my work as it kept on curling inward.  I was driving everyone nuts - and me too!  In the end, I just thought I would just do it and see what it looks like once it was finished.....  It turned out GREAT!

Its a decent size too, and I used 2 reels of Zpagetti.  I experimented with a few different patterns and really done my own thing but used this and this as a guide.  My base measured just under 30cm round, then I went onto the sides.  I love it, and thankfully so does Mum.  I have ordered more so I can make myself one too.

Its sitting a little lop-sided as I had it folded to wrap before I realised I had not taken a pic.

I also made Mum a Honey Cowl (free pattern HERE).
Modeled by Sophie:

She is such a good model!  As you can tell, she is not amused!!

The wool is a lovely shade of blue and is called Malibublue.
