So I am up to the outer border of my Calico Wedges quilt, designed by Kerry Swain! Totally loving is so far, but, I just cant decide on what I want for the outer. The original had a full Dresden in each corner, but I wanted mine a little fancier. I purchased some brown to add on a little border first, but it didn't look right, so these are my choices:
NUMBER 1:
NUMBER 2:
NUMBER 3:
NUMBER 4:
I would REALLY love some input here? 1, 2, 3 or 4? I was hoping to work on it today, but I am stuck! I have a favourite, Hubby has a different favourite and so does Mum...... HELP!

I like number 2 ... but they will all look great. Happy choosing.
Hard to pick which is best as they all work but i thnk it is No 1 for me. Good luck with your choosing.
Whatever you choose it will be a beautiful quilt in the end. I would choose number 1, the little bit of cream between the blocks and the Dresden is like another border and frames the inside square. Have fun deciding.
I luved No 2 then saw No 4. But do agree with what Susan said. Look forward to seeing the outcome. Take care
Hi Sarah
I like number 2 layout. Which one do you like best?
Hi Sarah
I like the bit of cream before the dresdens in no 1 but I like the way the dresdens are positioned in no 2 with the straight edge facing in and the curve to the outside..
I like number one I agree with the other posters, the cream space sets off both the fans and the centre.
I like number 1 ;-)
very nice..........No1 for me........have fun...
Hmmmm .....for what it is worth I like #1 :)
#2 - it might be the "safe" option but I like they way the half dresdens fit the edge of the inside part of the quilt...decisions decisions
I'm actually a fan of number one! Love this quilt!
Okay, dont know which one is your fave but I prefer 1! Hope you get a solution you're happy with
I like Number 1 but also like the full dresden in the corner of 4. Hugs...
I prefer no 1, Sarah. Whatever you choose will look fantastic.
No 2.
Sarah,
I know we are all different, that is why you asked and I would go for either 1 or 3, I actually dislike how the corners are cut off in #4 and I really like the space between last border and dresdens, it diffines them more, anyway, think i am leaning more to #3.
Love the colours BTW :o)
I have to go with number 4.....looks amazing Sarah....
