16 presents ready to go

I am sorry if you got this post twice in your feed.  I was stuffing about with the iPhone app and deleted the last post!  DUH!

Anyway, we had plans this long weekend to put in a new garden bed, complete with a water feature.  We had a bird bath water fountain at our last home and we really miss it.  We have talked about getting another for quite a long time now, and with it being a long weekend, we thought we will just do it!  Well, off to Launceston we went on Friday.  But we left empty handed!  There is not many places to go in Launceston selling water features, and the ones that did, well they didn't have much!  Plus we couldn't agree on one.  I have been checking out Google images for some inspiration, and I think I have some ideas for when the urge strikes again!  It was probably a good thing we didn't spend the weekend outside digging etc as its been HOT!  Hottest on record for little old Tassie.

So, whats a girl to do?!  Sew of course.  This was today's project, started last year and finally the flimsy is done.

Looks pretty good!  I have SO many clients quilts to do, but I really needed some 'me' time.

It is now sitting in my 'to be quilted' pile.

I even managed to finish my cowl last night!  With part of my hand sewing complete for a couple of swaps, I got stuck into that and finished it off.  More on that later.  Feeling pretty pleased with myself.

So, what project can I tackle from my UFO Basket now?  Maybe the Gingham Girls Bag?
