Swaps, gifts and a giveaway

Ok, so I have come to terms that Christmas is just over 3 weeks away!  I have made a sewing 'to do' list...... These last couple of years, our gift giving has been cut down quite a bit so its not too much of a drama!  But, I have 2 quilts I need to get done - from scratch - Yes, I have not even started them!  It was supposed to be last years gift...... I have a plan/pattern, always had, but, BUT, I did come across THIS one by Michelle.  It is similar to what I had planned...... So now I am not sure!

I keep changing my mind alot lately.  Had plans for our online group's secret Santa gift, but changed my mind after I did the stitchery.  Started the new project I decided on, now that the stitchery is finished and I am debating on changing to another project!  Don't you hate that?!

Anyway, this afternoon while the Gammill is churning away, I cut and glued all these little hexies for a couple of little projects on that list (well, one is for a gift, the other is for me). This is going to be my hand project for the moment.

Those 2 projects I wont be changing.  Well for me anyway LOL!

Onto the giveaway.  I am not having one, but my lovely blogger buddy Clare is!  She has just released a new pattern 'Balancing Elephants'.  A very cute pattern, modeled by her gorgeous daughter Chloe!  Pop on over for your chance to win this lovely pattern!

Oh yeah, I hate it when you can't make a decision on something, when it's exactly what you wanted in the first place...but maybe it wasn't. Maybe it needs changing. Nah, it's good. But then again...

I often feel the same way but usually don't have the time so I plod on and in the end I am happy with what I have made. The quilt Michelle made is lovely and looks like a quick one to put together. Hugs....
