Swap gifts and high tea

This morning I was such a busy bee.  I FINALLY got the tree up.  Yes, I only just put it up.... At least I did it!  And, I got the binding on ready to stitch down tonight on yesterday's quilt.

My swap parcel finally arrived and it was totally worth the wait!  When I got home at 6.30pm yesterday, there was a package waiting for me.  I opened the 'tree' gift first and found this cute rusty star.  I couldn't decide what to open next, so asked Dennis.... Quick as a flash he said 'tummy'!  Typical men lol!  Inside that parcel was some Vanilla and Almond Biscotti, not sure if it was made by Chooky?  I don't think I have ever tried it before.  I am going to try some tonight with a cuppa when I sit down to my binding!  Anyway, today I chose to open the 'fun' gift and found 3 little gifts (how spoilt!!).  A gorgeous Anni Downs notepad (these are just SO gorgeous), a cute Gutermann tin with thread AND a a cute keyring!  Told you I was spoilt!  Thanks Chooky, I am loving everything so far!

Below is what I have given Jane so far (pic stolen from Jane as she did a great job taking their pic!!).

1: Tree - ornie
2: Fun - sewing machine USB.  How cool are they?!
3. Tummy - Reindeer Noses.

Today I went to High Tea at The Charles with a couple of friends.  It was nice to catch up with Leanne before Christmas!

Champagne, Macaroons, scones CAKES... Oh and sandwiches too lol!  Was great and SO filling!
