T is for......

The last few days have been spent on this quilt which is my cousin's wedding gift (which is next Sunday).  Both Mum and Myself worked hard to get it to this stage in only 2 days (and not full days I might add!) with NO pattern!  Our original plan was to make Abundance as the pattern is a really great one to show off the lovely prints, BUT....... While looking through a catalogue on Wednesday I came across a quilt with all T blocks.  I thought this quilt was perfect as my cousin's last name starts with a T!  Luckily Mum thought the same, so we set to work.  It ended up a mix of a couple of quilts we liked!

Friday we did all the T's, and sewn them together:

Saturday the borders (apart from the outer border) were sewn and the applique was done last night while watching tv.  Then this morning I added the outer border and quilted it!  Here is the finished flimsy:

I have handed it over to Mum now to bind it!  What do you think?
