Today's weather was terrible! Rain, rain and more rain! Such a different day to yesterday! I fluffed about in the morning, debating weather to sew or bake. By the time lunch rolled around I had not done a thing! I finally settled on sewing! So at about 2.30pm I started these blocks! Talk about quick!
Nice big pieces, so they came together beautifully!
Another good thing about this project is that there are no seams to match up in the blocks! So, there is no bulk at all.
I have had this on my To Do List for some time...... The fabric I am using for my quilt is Joy by Kate Spain. It is such a pretty Christmas range. The pattern calls for fat eights, but I have been told that a Layer Cake works too! So far so good! The pattern is called All Wrapped Up and is a freebie. Click HERE for the pattern.
