20 Blocks......

I have had quite a few emails about how I cut my blocks out.  I didn't have the 9"sq  ruler suggested, only the 12 1/2" sq but it was still easy to do.  Here I took some pics - Notice the 1" is up the top:

And, I lined the bottom edge of the fabric on the 9" mark on both edges.....  When you do this, the very tip of the ruler is right on the top edge.

Okey, so now I have 20 blocks made.  I pulled some Jelly Roll strips out for a scrappy binding.  Now I think I might do another 4 blocks to make a decent single bed size:

These blocks are easy peasy to put together and matched well!

I had them laid on the floor, Miss Sophie came flying through the door, messed up my layout, then went back and stood on it while I am was making lunch!  Little bugger!

For those of you wanting to know what pattern I used, here is the link again.  It a free pattern on YouTube!

Roseanne and myself will draw 2 giveaway winners for stitching with us on the Friday Night's Pre-Cut Party on Wednesday.  This will give you all plenty of time to post your efforts!  We plan to have another 'party' in a couple of months.  So, this gives your plenty of time to decide on patterns and pre-cuts!
