Swap finishes

Yesterday was our online Groups swap opening.  The theme this time was Red Brolly.  You can imagine all the wonderful things being swapped!  Talk about a lovely bunch of talented ladies!

I made for the lovely Lynda and I decided to make her a little sewing set:

A little heart pincushion from Tea With Friends book:

And, a little sewing caddy.  Here is the inside..... Quite a few pockets to put your pens, un-pick, thread and bits in:

With a stitchery front:

I chose to make Lynda a sewing set to match a bag I made her in 2005 (I cant believe its that long ago!!).  She told me she uses it every time she goes to her sewing group, so I got hunting for a pic.  I just could not find one, but I thought I had used Paris Flea Market fabric.  I had some left so decided to go with it.....   SO glad I did!  Here they are will the bag (pic by Lynda):

Perfect match!!

I received from the lovely Jo!  I cant show you just yet.... waiting for the camera to charge.  Its always the way - flat when you need it lol!

What a lovely set, and extra special that it goes with the bag.

Lovely little pressies Sarah - my goodness, it must have taken ages to sew on all those little buttons - they really make the pincushion look super special though!
