I decided to make the newly married couple, Simon & Katie a quilt as their gift from us. I cant quite remember the pattern name, but I will be getting some in my store soon (when I come back from holidays), and if you would like to order one please email me and I will keep one aside. I must say, that it was a lovely easy to follow pattern!

wedding pics and exploring a patchwork store
Ok, here is another pic of the happy couple:
Today, I thought I would show some pics where the wedding took place, Spinnaker Park:
The table settings:
The wedding party table:
And the cake:
No more wedding pics..... but, tomorrow I will show pics of our gift to them!
Anyway, today Dad took us to Rockhampton to drop off the flowers, table center pieces etc. Of course I went through the phone book before hand to find where the quilt shops were LOL. I only came across one - Patchwork Paradise! A love BIG shop filled with lovely delicious fabrics! I purchased a leather bag handle, a couple of Hugs & Kisses notepads & Cards, and a 7" Charm Pack!

We are here and doll swap
Yes, we are here, Boyne Island - finally! We ended up being 1 1/2hrs late due to the big dust storm in Sydney..... not so bad when we heard that other people were waiting for hours and hours or their flights being cancelled all together! Here is a pic from inside Sydney Airport Dennis took, thought it had cleared alot I am told:

For more pics, click here. After getting off the lovely air conditioned Aeroplane yesterday, we were 'hit' with a scorching 32-34deg! Something us Tassie Devils are just not used to LOL! Today is a nice 29deg, there is a little breeze which is just *nice*!
Also, recently I was involved in a Dolly Swap, and Tereasa made for me Mum's Moment doll named 'Pocket Angel' (I haven't had much of a chance to post about it before - sorry!!)! I have the pattern for this dolly and had always planned to make it, so it was a lovely surprise to open my package and find this gorgeous doll! Thankyou SO much Tereasa, I LOVE her!

Big News for everyone
Ok, here is my BIG announcement:
It was nice to know that ALOT of people had wanted to know what I was up to and was very interested!
I am part of an online Group and every so often we have a 'chat night'. We all jump online and enter out private chat room (alot of the time we all open our swap gifts together while chatting), sometimes it gets SO busy in there, but it is always SO much fun! This got me thinking..... wouldn't it be SO great to have a chat room for all crafters from all over the world..... no need to be a part of a forum/group or even blog for that matter! So here it is!! Spread the word, the more the merrier!
Now, this room is open to anyone..... it is open 24 hours 7 days a week, and you do not need to be a 'member'. I do suggest that you use your blog name as your chat name (if you have one that is) so that everyone can identify you easier. You could even 'announce' on your blog that you will be available for chat on a certain day and see who pops in or use it for swap opening nights! I have the 'room' set up on my left hand sidebar right up the top (where the countdown was), all you need to go is click on it and type in your name and wait for it to load. Oh, you also must have JAVA to access it (which is a free download).
To make it easier for you to pop over here to 'chat' you may take my little button and link it to my blog.
I must say, that this chat room does not have any moderation, so if there are too many complaints and people abusing this, I will delete it! So please don't ruin it for everyone!
Happy chatting

PS: Just wanted to say a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the lovely Bec, I hope you have a fantastic day xx

Also, I would like to congratulate Dawnie as she has won my online stores August Giveaway of a Moda Charm Pack of her choice - which she chose Nancy Halvorsen's Cider Mill Road!
