The Mug Bag Swap

Thankyou to Christine who has decided to join the Pay It Forward Challange. Sylvia, not sure if you wanted to join as I am unable to contact you????
The very first swap item from our craft Group was a 'Mug Bag' and Susan made for me and this is what I got...... This is the front:

And here is the back - a pocket for your spoon and tea bag!!

How cute is that??!! Thankyou Susan, it's just lovely!!
Now, I made for Sue, not one to have the use for a mug bag, I decided to make her a little sewing bag instead! AND, if she ever needed a mug bag it will fit in the center bag!! This pattern is called the 'Sewing Carry All' in Bronwyn Hayes book called 'Flowerbed'. I actually made one for myself, but thought I would post that pic later on.... maybe tomorrow..........
Here is the outside - the stitchery is on both sides:
This is what the bag looks like once it is opened. A needlecase on one side and a scissor holder on the other with a draw string bag in the middle to hold all litle bits 'n' bobs!!
Next post, I hope to show you my creation from these fabrics................

Until then, take care,

x Sarah

Hi Sarah, I'm new to your blog. I was wondering what pattern your lovely Bronwyn Hayes stitchery/bag is? Could you let me know? It's really lovely! Thanks!
