More on "Summer Garden with Creative Women"

Here is a pic of the Designers Rose, Gail, Natalie and Rosie for the weekend:

Today, I thought I would talk about one Designers projects, Gail's. The BEAUTIFUL lap quilt/wallhanging is called "Summer Bouquet" and is going to be a project I will HAVE to make myself!! It is just so great seeing it in "real life". Here is a close up of the stitchery. Just LOVE that cameo affect around it. Makes it look sort of "olde world" if you know what I mean??!!

Another project from Gail is the lovely bag called "Saturday Morning". Of course Vicki had to make it.......... She is the "bag lady" after all LOL!!

Here is a pic of the beautiful Gail and Myself on Saturday. It was so lovely to meet her. She is one *lovely* friendly, funny lady. She showed me how to do needleturn applique, I have never attempted it before, and she was very patient. Had me doing it in no time!! WooHoo!! Thanks Gail xx
Tomorrow, I will share another designer and her projects. I will finish with a BIG surprise at the end of the "Summer Garden" posts, so keep on watching...............

Wasn't Gail lovely. I am so grateful to her for showing us how to do needleturn applique. It was lovely to see her again in Melbourne at the Quilt Expo.
