The Big "S"

While Dennis was out quad riding the other day with the "boys", I decided to do something different than sewing!! I had wanted to make a big chipboard "S" for a while (which I picked up at Spotlight afew weeks ago) and this is the outcome. I got the Sassy plate about a year ago, which Dennis found at the Penguin Market - with my childhood nickname being Sassy I HAD to have it, and in the same packet was a Princess plate which is the meaning of Sarah!!!
Finally, I have received the next Journey of a Quilter block!! Only 2 1/2 weeks late, I missed out on May altoghether..... Looks like it is NOT going to be a 9 month BOM but a 11 month as they didnt send out the Janurary one either..... NOT HAPPY!! Anyway, while waiting for it to arrive, I decided to start another UFO and have chosen to hand quilt the Raggedy Quilt which I have had the top completed AGES ago and plan to quilt a minimum of one block per night!!! We'll see.............

Love the big letter S! My daughter did one for her sister as a gift a few years ago with lots of sister stuff on it. I am trying to be patient while waiting for my next Leanne's house block to arrive too. I am not so good at waiting.
